Volumes I through XIV are the teachings of Pir-O-Murshid Hazrat Inayat Khan as transcribed from his lectures and talks given between 1914 and 1926.
The book called "Sayings" is largely derived from Inayat Khan's own personal notebooks.
The portion of the book called "Biography" was written following interviews with Inayat Khan, while the "Autobiography" portion was written by Inayat Khan himself.

“She said it was the most romantic night of her life. Charles had their bedroom filled with flowers and Harry was born out of love.”
Harry came into the world, weighing 6 pounds and 14 ounces, at 4.20pm on September 15, 1984. Charles phoned his mother the Queen to break the news before informing two-year-old Prince William he had a brother.
He then told his valet he needed a stiff whisky and called a polo friend to announce he would be available to play in a match the following day.
Sadly, by the time of Harry’s birth Diana and Charles were close to breaking point and she was being secretly treated for depression.
At Harry’s Christening Charles infuriated Diana’s mother Frances Shand Kydd by complaining that her daughter had delivered a son with red hair.
